30

I am 29 years old now. That means I have finally entered the 3-0 club. And I feel no different. Just because I am 30 I don’t think I have matured or am suddenly capable of imparting wisdom. Oh, there was a time when 30 was old for me. I thought being 30 would mean the end of the world as it is. But, how naïve I was. Age is just a number and there is so much more I still have to learn and do.

After the turbulent May, things have been settling down off late. One unforeseen event …

Hey Guys.

I have decided to scrap the idea of doing monthly wrap-ups of books as there will be months I read a lot and few dry spells. So, I came up with a new idea… I will post reviews of books once I finish reading five books. I have decided to read 52 books this year and honestly I am not to a great start. But hey, the year is just beginning.

So, here are my five recent reads –

This year got off to a busy and a rocking start. We went on a road trip to Kerala in the beginning of the year and then followed the exam frenzy. I am sad to see you go. I know many people have said that you have been shitty and are glad that you are over and I get why. The world had a difficult 2016. You will be cherished for being yet another great travel year. I went on two fantastic international trips to …

A movie about Dhoni, starring Sushant Singh Rajput! How could I not watch it?

Excitement and expectations running through every vein in our bodies I and husband walked in to the movie theater on Sunday night. We wanted to get to know the man who was instrumental in India winning the World Cup after 28 long years and also learn how a small town boy Mahi became DHONI. Did we get to know the man behind the scenes? Yes… in a way. Did we walk out with new found love and respect for Dhoni… no not really.

I really pity …

oscars-2016

I credit Oscars for piking my interest in my Red Carpet events. It was when Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for Best Actor award for Blood Diamond that I sat down to watch the entire show in hopes to see Leonardo DiCaprio win. While that didn’t happen I fell in love with the gowns that Penelope Cruz and Beyonce donned and rest as they say is history.

This time too I woke up early in the morning to catch the event, though I missed the red carpet this time Leonardo DiCaprio winning made my day.

Coming to the Red Carpet I …
