30 Before 30

30-before-30

I can’t believe that I am 27 years old now. If you ask me how old I feel right now, I would probably say 23. But according to the statistics I just turned 28.

Now that I am getting old(ish), I think it’s high time to kick a few things off my never ending bucket list. I decided to make a 30 Before 30 list because I know me, which means I know that I won’t get things done until I am given a deadline (hail the queen of procrastination people). I wish to complete the list before I am …

book-wrap-up

As August has finally dawned up on us, I thought it was high time that I posted my May and June book wrap-up. I promise you guys that July book wrap-up will be posted soon and not sometime in September.

Anyways, here are the list of books I managed to read in the months of May and June –

May wasn’t a very good reading month for me. I managed to read only two books and one of them was a graphic novel. But the two books that I did read were nothing short of brilliant.

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Last Ten Books That Came Into My Possession. I thought of taking the things a bit more further and share with you guys all the books I bought in the months of March, April, May and June.

Worst TV Pilot?

Doctor Who. I had heard so much about this show but when I saw the first episode it was lackluster. The plot of clichéd and the special effects were bad. But I am glad I stuck with …

book-sale

Bookstores are every book lover’s paradise. And when there is a sale in this paradise nothing can stop a book nerd from buying more books.

And that’s what happened to me over the weekend. I already own 190 unread books on my shelf but the moment I heard that one of my favorite bookstores ‘Landmark’ was having a nearly 50% off sale I went to the store and ended up buying 3 books.

But hey, I have no regrets. Firstly, because I am proud of myself for buying just 3 books and secondly, book shopping makes me happy. And there …

Being a Jurassic Park fan girl, ‘Jurassic World’ was one of my most anticipated movie of this year. I went to watch the movie the same weekend it released and have been basking in its awesomeness ever since.

I think that ‘Jurassic World’ is not just a must watch for Jurassic Park fans but for every movie goer out there. And here are my reasons for the same –

It’s a worthy addition to Jurassic Park franchise

As much as I was excited for the movie I was a tiny bit apprehensive too. Jurassic Park, in my opinion, is one …
