A movie about Dhoni, starring Sushant Singh Rajput! How could I not watch it?

Excitement and expectations running through every vein in our bodies I and husband walked in to the movie theater on Sunday night. We wanted to get to know the man who was instrumental in India winning the World Cup after 28 long years and also learn how a small town boy Mahi became DHONI. Did we get to know the man behind the scenes? Yes… in a way. Did we walk out with new found love and respect for Dhoni… no not really.

I really pity …

April was a good movie month for me. I watched 12 movies and I loved most of them.

Here are mini reviews of the movies that I saw –

Byomkesh Bakshi

This was one of my most anticipated Hindi movies of the year and I wasn’t disappointed. Sushant Singh Rajput was perfectly cast as Byomkesh Bakshi. He gave full justice to the role with proper mannerisms and body language that the character demanded. It was a delightful thriller with brilliant direction and fantastic screenplay.

Set in the dark and frenzied era of early 1940’s Calcutta, the movie is a contemporary …

Ok… I am not in love with it but it wasn’t all that bad. Yeah, yeah its one of those typical love stories which is way too predictable yet somehow it feels fresh.

The story is pretty simple. The boy (J played by Imran Khan… who btw is amazing) is a Casanova who flirts with any and everyone and doesn’t believe in love. So when Neha tagged me asking to list down my favorite dialogues from Hollywood or Bollywood, I was excited… where else would I get to list those dialogues that I end up using in my vocab or like a lot? But that tag was a contest and I am not interested to participate in it and besides I think its over. So, I would be breaking

This post is going to short one as I am really sleepy and I am just blogging out of my love for Ranbir and the movie.

I am just back from the movie Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and I have messaged most of my friends asking them to go and catch the movie this week end. I have even promised one of my friends to accompany her to the movie… that’s how much I loved the movie. I think the producers of the movie should give me something… you know… for promoting their movie. Well, I don’t think that

Finally the Rain God showed some mercy on me and I was able to go and watch the movie ‘Wake Up Sid’. It’s a Sunday, so I knew I wouldn’t get the tickets so I rushed an hour early but still the best seats were sold out. So, I had to settle for less comfortable seats and all the while I was hoping that I won’t get disappointed and I dint.

Wake Up Sid is story of Sid (Ranbir Kapoor) who refuses to
